This is going to be a very good card.
I think that Brook will have all he can handle with Alexander, who is definitely his toughest opponent to date. My heart goes with Brook but I'm afraid that he might be in just a little over his head with the slick Alexander.
Matthysse on the other hand couldn't have picked a better opponent than Peterson. This one should be action packed, but Peterson can not out box Matthysse, nor can he out slug Matthysse. Don't see any other outcome than a Matthysse KO.
Great card though. Boxing still lives.
Those will be some a couple of interesting fights.
The Peterson/Matthysse at jr. welterweight will be a good one after Lucas Matthysse and his three emphatic KO's against Mike Dallas ,Ajose Olusegun and Humberto Soto ,but against Peterson he will be challenged with a more technical fighter than those three ,Peterson is a fighter that gave Amir Khan all he could handle.
I think Lamont Peterson with his skills and versatility will be the difference maker in a close SD.
Kell Brook is fast and he's the new blood of the welterweight division. Devon Alexander is overrated do to his victories over Juan Urango ,Randall Bailey and Marcos Maidana ,those 3 fighters were all one dementional.
Kell Brook can easily match Devon Alexanders' speed and then some making it a very difficult fight for Alexander ,sort of like a rabbit that relies on his speed getting chased by a cheetah ,the rabbit will have no where to run and that would be bad news for that rabbit with the rabbit being Devon Alexander and the cheetah being Kell Brook.
Kell Brook will school Devon Alexander to a one sided UD or a 8th round TKO if Kell Brook chooses to press the action.

Not really. This is a great card, but lets face it this can only happen because these four combined couldn't move a barrel of unleaded even if they were giving it away. If Canelo doesn't become the American superstar that GBP, and others, are banking on they may have some issues going forward.
HBO took a major hit, but it still has some potential crossover talent and if I'm a Showtime executive I don't want to be forced into a quality product vs. crossover athlete wager/battle in a declining sport that has yet to bottom out in popularity.
Should be a good card, if it goes ahead.
I think that Matthysse will beat PEDerson. I'm not sure if he will KO him because PEDerson has a very good chin.
Kell Brook is the real deal. He will show that he is the real deal against Alexander. Devon has had a couple of big gift decisions in America, against foreign opposition, so it is a big risk for Brook to come to Devon's back yard. I think Brook will win the fight but I'm not sure he'll get the decision off the judges.
