Ever hear of Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong or Willie Pep? Any historian would certainly have these all time greats on this list. Your list is good so don't get me wrong as many things are about opinions but I base my lists on career accomplishments.

A top ten without Roberto Duran isn't much of a top ten. You didn't specify if it was pound for pound though, which would severely alter the rankings. Here is a list of the top ten of all-time.

Sugar Ray Robinson

Muhammad Ali

Benny Leonard

Jack Johnson

Joe Louis

Jack Dempsey

Roberto Duran

Henry Armstrong

Willie Pep

Sugar Ray Leonard

And my pound for pound list

Sugar Ray Robinson

Roberto Duran

Henry Armstrong

Willie Pep

Joe Gans

Jimmy Wilde

Harry Greb

Barney Ross

Julio Cesar Chavez

Jimmy McLarnin

A lot of boxing writers put a bunch of heavyweights in the pound for pound rankings and for the life of me I can't understand why. There are very few technically skilled fighters at the heavyweight division which is a prerequisite for pound for pound consideration. At the very least punchers and brawlers like Foreman or Dempsey should -never- make any top ten in P4P rankings. That's just me though.

Great Boxers- Who perfected the sport and were beloved by any took the sweet science to great heights

1. Sugar Ray- great record unbeatable great talent

2. Ali- great heart

3. Tyson- youngest heavyweight titleholder ever great punching power and chin 37-0 in the 80s decade. like ali very well known in the boxing and outsie boxing world 4

4. Joe lous- beloved champion

5. Rocky maricano- undeafted nuff said

6. Duran

7. Sugar Ray

8 Floyd - record and hard worker

9. Holyfeild- great heart 4 heavyweight title ost then all heavys

10. Lewis & George Foreon both doainted their divisons and were unbeatlabel wehn reayd

No Henry Armstrong no Willie Pep. How did Joe Calzaghe make this list. I totally disagree with some of your choices. Sugar Ray Robinson should be Number 1 followed by Roberto Duran.

Couldn't have chosen a better list, perfect rankings too

7 sugar ray leonard

6.mike tyson

5. lennox lewis
