Why did Mike Tyson duck George Foreman?

Tyson's style was effective against guys who aren't that tough, haven't got brilliant jab. George was very tough, some people seem to think Mike would floor george with his shots but George was very, very tough. Like Mike himself, George only ever got knocked out (by Ali) when he was beyond exhausted. But george was a huge puncher, bigger than Mike, trying to fight george on the inside is being a sitting duck for him. Tyson was tough, but george was too hard and Mike would have been hurt, badly.

In boxing swarmers beat boxers which beat punchers which beat swarmers.

Watch Foreman vs Frazier.

Frazier had longer reach and more height than Tyson.

What happened in Foreman vs Frazier; Frazier tried to get his hook in but Foremans big size helped him push Frazier off, and when both punched the big Foreman got there first. And Foreman, being a puncher, could hurt Frazier [unlike Ali].

Tyson had less reach & height than Frazier. Foreman would have pushed him & landed haymakers in similar fashion.

Because mike honestly knew he couldn't do anything with George foreman most likely

no i do not i heard mike on sway talking about how floyds ducking paq he says that floyd has no ego he says him ali and others would fight anybody he says that if people are saying he cant beat somebody then hed be dying to fight them

Mike has said that Tyson didn't want to fight him, and it's actually known that Cus D'Amato said no swarmer would ever be able to beat George Foreman, couple that with the fact that when Iron Mike met Foreman, he was remarked to be very quiet around Foreman.

Why do you think Tyson ducked him? Did he duck him? Thoughts?
