Better pressure fighter? Chino Maidana or Antonio Margarito?

Here's a comparison of both fighters;

Margarito; knocked out the current middleweight king Sergio Martinez, he also knocked out an undefeated prime Cotto and broke Joshua Clotteys arm. Margarito, a swarmer, was only ever down in 1 fight against Hall of Famer Shane Mosley.

Maidana; wobbled a hypejob abc title holder in Adrien Broner [the same guy who struggled with Paulie Malinaggi, a C level fighter]. The sad thing is Maidana could not even finish Broner off. Maidana was dropped by 2 C level fighters at lightwelterweight, none was a Hall Of Famer.

ps; Antonio Margarito vs Joshua Clottey has a world record in the history of the sport for most punches thrown in 12 rounds [1675 punches]. If anyone i a swarmer it was Antonio Margarito.

Margarito was also allot taller and longer than Maidana.

Tony Margarito is not called Tornado for nothing in his best prime where even the likes of Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya reportedly evaded fighting him not so much for his then non-marquee name. The young Sergio Martinez got to sample his pressure fighting in his first fight in the USA as an upcoming welterweight and lost by TKO.

I don't see any distinct similarities especially with Margarito being taller and physically stronger than Maidana and known for his volume power punching to go with his pressure attacks.

Margarito is better. He is taller than most welterweights, throws an average of 100 punches a round, never tires, and has an iron chin. Marcos Maidana has better power, but doesnt smother his opponent as much with volume of punches, but with a few very hard punches, he gets tired sometimes and takes rounds off, and gets dropped some times.

Maidana is a better pressure fighter but margarito has the size and stregnth advantage. but maidana can end your night withing the first rounds where margarito can break you after several rounds.

Margarito was a beast in his prime. And he's a lot bigger than Maidana.

Margarito was a much more dangerous challenge, that's why the fight didn't go down.

What do you expect? Mayweather cherry picks fights, he will never take a risk because hes a coward. :)

A lot of people say Mayweather ducked a prime Margarito early in his career. Does fighting a prime Chino make up for that so called ducking? Thoughts!

I personally think he would of easily out boxed and out classed Margo, cast or no cast and going to do the same to Mariana.
