If he beats Mayweather convicingly and continues to dominate against quality opponents. Even if he loses to Mayweather in a competitive fight ,Canelo could still make the hall of fame if he continues to dominate.
Bernard Hopkins loss to Roy Jones Jr. fair and square and Hopkins still moved on to become HOF worthy ,so who are we to say Canelo Alverez can't do the same if he loses to Mayweather.
If he continues to fight with the desire to fight the best and be the best, he will be a hall of famer.
I don't think yet , but he's only 24. He is 42-0 Champion, and fought tough guys. I think Def. on pace of being HOF.
