In their prime?

FMJ vs Mosley of 2003

I agree with stick and move on this one, but with Ortiz as my first pick and Cotto/Canelo as the second.

Considering it is hypothetical though, I don't think the fights make much sense considering that all the fighters mentioned have lost their last fight and also because they aren't in contention as a next Floyd opponent. Ortiz because I think it would be pretty entertaining although the same result is still inevitable. Canelo because I think he learnt his lesson, you can't outbox Floyd, so he will hopefully just go out 100% in the first few rounds which would also be entertaining. Cotto because IMO his fight with Mayweather was pretty decent for a Floyd fight.

Again, I stress the fact that I only say these in a hypothetical manner. I don't think or want these fights to happen, I just think that they present something more than Marquez, although a great fighter, can against Floyd because of their last fight. Although Marquez is the most likely of the fighters mentioned to get a rematch.

If he KOs Bradley (after Bradley's last fight, it's realistic), I'd say Marquez. Marquez will be coming off of KOing Pacquiao, then the other guy who beat Pacquiao. He will be deemed a "new" fighter. Come Cinco de Mayo weekend, it would be a HUGE fight for both of them.

And when you think of it, who else does Floyd really have to make huge money against? Trout wouldn't sell. We'll see how Pacquiao does, but against a Jr. Welter who lost his last fight? Canelo is out. Cotto is out. Ortiz is a dirty fighter who was KOed, he doesn't deserve a pay day. Garcia never fought at Welter.

There is not a real money generator out there unless he fights Martinez for The Ring and Lineal Championships. He could be the FIRST and probably ONLY man to ever hold The Ring Welterweight/Jr. Middleweight/Middleweight Championships all at the same time.

If he chooses not to go that route, MARQUEZ ON CINCO!!!

My pick would be Cotto, and honestly my next pick would be Ortiz.

Marquez got schooled, easy shutout for Floyd and it's just a huge mismatch. Same goes for Canelo.

I actually thought Ortiz was fighting okay against Floyd. He was definitely losing, and was going to eventually get stopped no matter what IMO, but it was an entertaining fight up until the abrupt ending.

Ortiz is young, big, strong, has good technique, and hits hard....but so same goes for Canelo.

There's not that much out there for Floyd in terms of a rematch though, and Ortiz is a quitter who has lost to inferior fighters, so I doubt many would be interested.

But all in all I'd rather see Vic rematch Floyd than see JMM, Canelo, Mosley, Guerrero, etc...all of whom Floyd raped and made look like cans (save for rd 2 of the Mosley fight).

Marquez

The only one that makes sense is Marquez, after all he did just put Pacquiao to sleep.

Marquez!!!!!!!

Marquez killed PacMan and will beat Bradly; so yeah obviously that's what we need.

Castillo, gave him the most trouble so i say him even though they fought twice, I believe Catillo really won the first fight

B) Cotto, their fight was a classic.
