Boxing: If you could manage any fighter for 2 years?

A) Who would you promote?

B) Who would he be fighting?

C) What would be you ultimate goal for him?

A) For just two years ,I would have to go with the highest PPV grossing fighter out there ,Floyd Mayweather because the more dollars it makes ,the more sense it makes.

B) Floyd Mayweather would be fighting Kell Brook in the UK in Brooks' own back yard ,Adrien Broner in Las Vegas and Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas. If Bob Arum gets in the way of the negotiation then my alternate would probably be Tim Bradley ...no wait he's with Arum too ,so I would probably put Mayweather in there with Pauli Malignaggi ,not the greatest competition but he's probably the next best option.

C) My ultimate goal for him would be to retire undefeated.

You're kind of crossing me up with the manage then promote question as they have a completely different business model despite their similarities. Since a promoters career can be made or broken on the success or failure of 1 fighter, I'll choose that since it's a tighter fit to your question.

A. Andre Ward- Why? 1.) He's a good communicator 2.) Comes from a huge economic area* 3.) Fits the generally accepted African-American complexion standard 4.) He's the unrecognized best fighter on the planet. 5.) He fights at a weight that the large American population will respect.

B. Cans Of Corn- My objective would be to turn a world-class no-name athlete into a superstar, not provide top-notch competition for an extremely small hardcore fan-base. How has that worked so far for that guy? You better believe that would be a transition to a closing question in my pitch to Ward.

C. To have him saturated in the sports and movers & shakers press by the end of the first year. The second year I would spend capitalizing on that name recognition and make so much money King & Arum would rip me to shreds publicly and then call on me privately and say great FU**IN JOB!

A) GGG

B) In the next 2 years, GGG will be fighting Sergio Martinez at 160 lbs, Kelly Pavlik at 160 lbs., and Canelo Alvarez at 160 lbs.

C) A Mega-Fight with Andre Ward at 168 lbs in the 3rd or 4th year.

A) Adrien Broner

B) Matthysse, Garcia, Maidana, Khan...all the names at 140lb-147lb that are signed w/ Golden Boy.

C) To make him into a PPV attraction. He's already very popular at a very young age, has an extreme amount of talent, and people dislike his personality/demeanor b/c they think he's cocky and arrogant, despite that being mostly fabricated IMO for the sole reason of getting people to pay attention to him.

My other answer would be Gary Russell Jr, b/c I've been very sad at how his career is going. He's got all the talent in the world, but hasn't done anything yet as a pro. Just wanted to point that out quick...

A) Saul Alvarez

B) And he'd fight GGG, Ishe Smith, and id get him a fight for the vacant WBO title, Erislandy Lara, Willie Nelson, and Miguel Cotto

C) My goal for him would to unify all the titles in the Light Middleweight Division and get "Super" champion status on the WBA and WBO Titles. And also get an Emeritus and Diamond WBC title. But ultimately I'd want him as the Unified WBA(Super), WBC,IBF and WBO(Super) Ring Magazine champion of the world. Also Undisputed and Lineal.

Wlad Klitchko, there are so many fights he needs to have but it looks like they may never happen. He would fight deontay wilder, tyson fury, povetkin, malik Scott, dereck Chisora, and I would push him into a fight with vitali. He has achieved everything as a fighter so it's hard to think of a goal for him, maybe for him to retire and have people remember him as someone who fought the best around, not someone who avoided decent fighters.

I agrere with Doc and his answer. That would be one fighter I'd love to manage right now with big fights coming up possibly vs Martinez and then maybe Alvarez. Great question Sean!

A) right now it would be your mate golovkin

B) Martinez ... i think martinez is start to slow and it would be a good time to fight him

C) if canelo manages to pull off an upset then that would be a massive fight or simply unify the middle weight belts

A) Floyd Mayweather

B) Manny Pacquiao

C) Don't get killed

A) Who would you promote?

B) Who would he be fighting?

C) What would be you ultimate goal for him?
