Boxing: What opponents would guarentee Mayweather 1 million in PPV buys?

Who are they?

Martinez, Pac & GGG

That's a good question because that's what Mayweather Promotions needs when deciding on a opponent. Who will bring in the most money? Right now, I'd go with Pacman (obviously), Khan (UK fanbase), Cotto rematch, Martinez (if he beats Cotto), Bradley (based off his last 2 fights - getting more recognition). This time next year, you can add Danny Garcia, and Golovkin. Mostly because they need to be exposed more to the casual fans.

Besides the obvious choice ,Manny Pacquiao ,I would have to say Bernard Hopkins if he's serious about meeting Floyd at 160.

Kell Brook is another one if he has a showcase on showtime first against someone like Maidana or Shawn Porter because Kell Brook already has a huge following in the UK.

I don't know why everyone think Mayweather is supposed to fight GGG when he fights at 160 and GGG is a big 160 at that. In the case of Hopkins ,he's almost 50 years old and would be severely weight drained and would kill himself trying to make 160 to fight Mayweather making the fight fair.

Pacquiao and Golovkin/Martinez.

Floyd against his nemisis finally and Floyd vs 2 middleweight beasts would be very easy to get 1 mil buys.

Floyd will sell a million fighting just about anybody. He got over 800,000 fighting Guerrero, and over a million fighting a green Alvarez.

Manny Pacquiao, that is the only one I know is a guarantee.

Canelo, Pacquaio, Cotto maybe martinez. maybe danny garcia.

Khan would probably get him that, barely. Danny Garcia as well if he builds himself a bit more.

Cotto if he beats Martinez, or Martinez but he fights on HBO.

Golovkin just for being a Middleweight, but he also fights on HBO.

Bradley, but he fights on HBO and for Top Rank.

of course Pacquiao

Pacquiao

Winner of Martinez vs Cotto

Maidana

Bradley(but it would be borderline)

GGG

Hopkins

Ward

as far as i know, pac remains as floyds biggest payday.
