Rodney,

It's no a matter of just "Moving" your head, it's how you move your head. The Mazie Ball will help with your head movement. Go to youtube and look at a young Mike Tyson working with the Mazie Ball, pure perfection.

The Mazie Ball is basically a speed bag filled with sand attached to a rope which hangs from the ceiling. One stands in front of the ball in their stance, the ball should be even with your head. Push the ball forward the move your head from left to right. I can write about it until my fingers turn blue, it's best to look at the videos or ask your Trainer to show you how.

It's impossible to have constant head movement, one has to stop moving their head when they punch. It's boxing and taking blows to the head is all part of the game, limiting the amount of punches you take is spent with the Mazie Ball, hours upon hours.

Moving just to be moving is not any better than staying still all of the time.

if you have a pattern of movement even when not avoiding punches the other guy can time your movement and hit you.

You have to move for a reason and not do the same thing all of the time.

No. Moving your head allows you to dodge those punches. moving your feet foward causes you to run in to punches in Boxing ask Manny Pacquiao

its possible someone with a lot of head movement could weave or bob their way onto a shot but head movement will do a fighter much more good than bad.it's an asset of defence because it makes fighters harder targets

No, not as long as your head stays out of the reach of your opponent.

It can happen. I mean the point of head movement is to avoid being hit but eventually you're going to get hit.

If they are accurate, then yes.
