As you know I'm more into boxing than the UFC but I do enjoy watching it when there is a big fight as this was. And yes indeed he does have a little resemblance to the Manassa Mauler.

Of course facial looks would be the only resemblance here though. If this would have been Dempsey in the match, it would have only been 30 seconds in the first round before it was over, and still have smelling salts under Silva's nose. During their match Silva kept dropping his hands and taunting Chris. He would have done that only once against the prime fast deadly hitting Jack. But, I doubt highly if this, lets say, a Dempsey vs. Silva match, that Anderson would have never even considered dropping his hands and taunting or toying with someone as explosive as Jack. But then again we are comparing two different fight style games here. Apples/oranges.

Yeah he has very similar eyes and cheekbones to Dempsey. What's his fighting style like though? Is he a puncher?

Imagine if European-American brothers like Dempsey didn't get busy dominating politics, science, technology, education, armed forces, wars, space races, other high paid softer sports as tennis and golf, Hollywood, TV shows blah blah how much more white dominated the sport of boxing would be nowadays!
