I'm all for giving east Euro fighters their props, I think many people undermine guys like Klitschko's opponents, just because they never heard of them.
With that said; Stevenson has the best belt at lightheavyweight and the best wins in that division. I think he kind of is scared of Kovalev and in his last fights interview I saw him push Kovalev away as a potential opponent but if the fight happens it's a 50-50 & both have a better belt than BHops

No, he's been a talker, even a trash talker since becoming a world champion at 175. Why should he be intimidated by Kovalev when he is the one with the one-punch fight-ender capability?
It's possible, but too early to tell. Adonis might be scared of Kovalev's power, and stamina. Adonis got clobbered by Boone, in 2010. Adonis might possess more one punch power, but his chin is suspect, and Kovalev has great power, and punches in bunches.
When the fight takes place, Kovalev will put him in a coma.
It has less to do with fear and more to do with money. Im sure Adonis Stevenson rather have a much bigger payday fighting Lucian Bute ,Jean Pascal or Bernard Hopkins ,if it don't make dollars it don't make sense.

I think Stevenson is desperately looking for a way out from this fight. He's nothing but a paper champ if he doesn't fight an Eastern Euro. It's Eastern Euros who set the standard of greatness in bigger weight divisions today. He can't fight American bums and think that he's the man.
