The general consensus among fans is that if Pacquiao could get back to his deadly form, he would run roughshod over and stop Rios. But fight experts are divided on this. And for good reasons. Rios is young and strong and durable. He has very good punch resistance and possesses very good punching power himself. Like some of the pundits, I expect a war but I also will not preclude Manny using more backing up and lateral movements against a ponderous puncher like Rios as Mike Alvarado did in winning their recent rematch.
Rios is a very dangerous customer for Pacquiao so it's not fair and accurate to say that he cherry picked the impetuous Mexican American fighter.
I am not counting Rios out in this fight. But of course, Manny would be the odds-on favorite to win.
Pac is back on the roids and that's why he's avoiding the US.
He's going to test his roids on Rios, if Pac isn't on roids he will get killed . Similar to Roy Jones getting knocked out by the 40 year old Road Warrior.
My conclusion, Pac wants an easy fight. If he wanted a real fight he'd fight someone who could box and NOT AT ANOTHER DAMN CATCHWEIGHT.
I don't know, I'll ask him when he wakes up. If he "ran" a bit more he wouldn't have been put to sleep in the first place.
