How to have faster punching &...?

Difficult to understand you. Applied boxing skills require sparring. It's no good just doing the moves or pads or whatever. Sparring is where you learn to box an opponent, it's a lot less comfortable than hitting pads, you must learn to stay focused and relax and apply boxing skills while you may be under an adrenaline rush. You also have an opponent trying to hit you, which makes it a lot harder to use the punches and skills you were taught. There isn't much you can do about speed apart from get fit, practice sparring, shadow boxing etc. Speed bag and floor to ceiling ball help reflexes, but again you must learn to apply in sparring.

It would be best to have a partner, but if you don't have that option, try shadowboxing. In case you haven't heard of it, I'll explain. Shadowboxing is where you pretend there is someone in front of you and you are attacking them with what you've learned, it is good for warming up, as well as practicing out of class.

Instead of going for strength, go for speed as you're shadowboxing. Though don't get used to it, or you'll lack strength when the time comes to spar one-on-one. Using a large amount of straight punches in a row without a break, for about a minute. Your speed will improve, as well as your stamina. But don't forget about strength and work on building up your strength at the same time. Another good way is to punch a bag.

However, another few words of advice. A boxer's biggest weakness is his/her legs, so make sure you don't completely neglect your legs. In a ring, it won't matter much as they won't attack your legs, but on the street, anything goes, so be mindful of your strengths as well as weaknesses.

Avoid street fights if at all possible - there are no rules.

short and sweet answer, move your feet faster.

Ok so I got into a fight a week ago or so, and well I know how to box.. Plus it was my first fight. The kid didn't square up like I did he put he two fists together and put it up on the right side of his face and when he punched he just swung and hit were it landed... Ok when my boxing teacher showed me the basics... The punches, how to stand, extra ... Ok but that's all because he moved and he didn't train me well enough , but I want to know how can I train my self on moving faster, seeing a punch before it happens, and have faster move ment, also stronger punching ,, please help , do I need a partner to do this ??? And the kid was a street fighter
