In boxing, a sound is heard when there is 10 seconds to go, what is the sound called?

the klaxon

It is just two pieces of hard flat wood, usually pine or cedar, that are banged together to signify the last 10 rends. It is similar to a judges gavel to get the attetion of the court.

It is typically the hammer hitting the base of the stand on which the bell is situated.

I call it the clack-clack.

Instrument? It's probably just two pieces of of wood clacked together.

In boxing and MMA matches when there is about 10-20 seconds to go in the current round a sound can be heard like a "CLICK-CLICK-CLICK".

What I'd like to know is -- what is this sound called and what is the name of instrument that makes this sound called?

Many thanks
