Clue: The answer is in the RING.

ernie terrell is three years older than ali. he is currently the oldest living former heavyweight champion / titleholder.

I would have to say former WBA World Heavyweight Champion Ernie Terrell, Then the great Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali defeated Ernie on Feb 6,1967, in the Houston,Astrodome by a unanimous 15 round decision. Big John Tate passed away on April 9,1998, Tate was a former WBA World Heavyweight Champion, he defeated Gerrie Goatzee, of South Africa on Oct 20,1979. and he lost his title to Mike Hercules Weaver on March 31 1980, by a knockout in round 15.

Wladimir Klitscho.

Vitli Klitchko is the oldest current I would think, is that what your asking? or who is the oldest ex champion? That would probably be Tate, John Tate he was just on espn recently hes like almost 90.

i was gunna say Ali but then i checked it out and i realised i'd forgot about a couple of guys.i know who it is now but i'l let someone else get it.

it was Johannson up until 2009.he was born in 1932

Give us another clue is he from africa?
