Not sure if he will duck a rematch with ward, we will find out in the next couple of days, but if he does there isn't any point in him staying at supermiddle. Will prob be better for his legacy to win a world title at a different weight than to fight S.O.G again.
The real question is how much has the shoulder surgery effected Andre Ward. Shoulder surgery ruined Jeff Lacy and Joe Calzaghe built a career off the damaged fighter. European name fighters that were humiliated by Ward and Dirrell in that 168 lb. tournament a few years ago would love exploit a damaged Ward for the name recognition alone, and all of them envy Calzaghe's success and wish to follow his example. Ward's next fight is of huge interest to boxing because he simply might not be the same fighter who beat Dawson and dominated the 168 lb. tournament, he may be damaged goods ripe for the picking. I hope I am wrong, but a serious injury is a potential career ender in boxing, and Ward has a lot to prove in his next fight.
Its the biggest fight at super middleweight for both boxers, so a rematch makes sense. I think Ward should show how game he is and come over to the UK to fight Froch. It would be a massive event and sell out Wembley stadium.
blogbaba) Jeff Lacy damaged his shoulder in a rematch with Vitali Tsypko which was after the Calzaghe fight. So Calzaghe didn't make his name off beating an injured Lacy.
I just saw the Sky Sports post fight interview and Froch said he's game as long as Ward comes to England. I think Froch would go at it again but I doubt he comes back to the States.

I watched Froch making that statement to Max Kellerman and I thought that Andre simply would give Froch a whooping and he knows that.
How is not fighting someone you have clearly lost to ducking? If he fights Andre Ward again he will lose again. How is that ducking? Is Marquez ducking Mayweather because he knows he would lose again? No he is just being realistic.
froch is just slow to compete with ward he will lose again but in the u.k they will rob ward at all costs.
HAHAHAHA, Froch knows he can't beat Ward and Froch is more concerned about his Legacy than making a ton of cash!
