Is it me or has the boxing forum gotten lame out here?

I was around years back, but I'll leave my old screen name out. I was around back in the days when Santana D, Ric Zenbach, Blogbaba (not 2, he chose that name as to not supass Santana D 1st), Cherokee74, Jane Furrows, Mrraavis, and many others were active.

Back then (now I sound old) you'd ask a question and get several answers much faster. It felt more tight knit than it does now. Rarely was there the bickering there is now-a-days. Back then, to me, it seemed like people were able to have opposing views and not talk too much trash.

I don't know where all of those people went. It's really not a big deal any way. But if I hear the questions like Ali-Tyson, how can I beat up this one kid, or some other question that has been asked a hundred bujillion times I'll puke.

People seemed moreknowledgeablee then too. If I ask a question and also ask for details for why you have that opinion, I am trying to provoke thought. Many times you get these short thoughtless answers. Maybe you get 2 gay points for answering. But if I don't get an answer I like, I delete the question.

It seemed then, people would take time answering a question after READING it. Maybe it's a sign of the deterioration of intelligents and the rise of the American Idiots, lol. Pun intended. But seriously, I don't know why it's changed.

It is not as strong as I would like to see it but it is 100 times better now that Pac Man is out the way . A strong group takes time I believe we have a strong strong nucleus as long as we don't lose any more top contributors.I have tried to bring something new into this form but some guys are jealous that I have working knowledge of the sport. I thought they would find it interesting to know what it feels like to get ready for a fight , and how it feel to get hit in the face with a 100 MPH punch lol. Most people on here only want to talk about the fighters that are HBO, and SHOWTIME. There are many other boxers ,and trainers out here that are keeping the sport alive that you will never hear of in less you get out and go see your local fighters it is worth your time.

40 years in the game as a fighter ,promoter, trainer, manager.

For us older guys, it seems to be lots of young people who might have got involved in boxing interest in the late 80's with Tyson. They have no idea who was part of the game, prior to that. Now we have those that feel the K brothers are the GOAT heavyweightshts. It's a pleasure when someone like say Lestermont can add past fight knowledge to this present forum

There is no villain in this forum anymore...So it gotten a little bit lame and boring...

But its still the same...I still love the section, no doubt....
