Floyd on the other hand is a fraud. Fact is I call him FRAUD most of the times.
The faded legend that Marciano beat were way better quality than the faded legend Mayweather beat. Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe to Floyd's Sugar Shane and Oscar? The Rock wins hands down, Mayweather's a jabroni.
For the sake of the question, Mayweather has better competion. However, Marciano's record is far more significant for many reasons.

Comparing these two makes no sense at all. The only thing they have in common is that they're both boxers. These comparisons stem from the very small-minded people who dwell on every little thing involving race.

People who harp so much on race are very narrow minded and think little of themselves. They're scared little children in adult bodies. Every race has some obvious advantage over another. It's what makes us all different. However, when you choose to view "different" as good or bad, that's when you become your own worst enemy. There is SO MUCH MORE to life than the petty little squabbles regarding race.

*Floyd is still fighting, which means he could actually lose
*Even if Floyd surpasses Marciano's record, it's still foolish to compare because SO MANY have already done it. However, none of them were heavyweights.

Julio Cesar Chavez was 88-0 before losing. I didn't hear any comparisons then. There are countless other non-heavyweight boxers who have surpassed 49-0.

Only the small-minded, among Blacks and Whites, even care about this. Fortunately, they're a relatively small group of individuals who think very little of themselves and must dwell on race in order to gain some measure of self worth.
Marciano was a heavyweight n the beat heavyweight all time. Floyd would die before the 4 round.
IMO Mayweather has faced the better opposition. Marciano fought 40 year old Archie Moore, a blown up light heavyweight. 37 year old and way past his prime, Joe Louis , who came out of retirement to pay off tax monies owed to the IRS. 38 year old Jersey "Joe" Walcott. Only had 6 title defenses.
Flloyd is only because hes more entertaing boxing isn't just the fighting its the promotion as well nobody promotes better than mayweather
Who's the better undefeated boxer? Give me a few reasons for why you choose Marciano or mayweather. (Yes I know they're not in the same weight class. I'm not asking who would win in a fight.)
