Where is Yuri Gamboa? Why isn't he rated at 130 lbs.?

Gamboa versus:

Takashi Uchiyama?

Rances Barthelemy?

Mikey Garcia?

Takashi Miura?

Who wins, why and how?

@Ray

The ironic thing about what you said is that Garcia actually won both his titles against reigning champs, whereas Gamboas titles were technically vacant when he claimed them. Gamboa won his first vacant Featherweight title against Whyber Garcia. He unified that WBA title with the vacant IBF title against Salido (who Mikey later defeated). Then won the vacant interim WBA Super Featherweight title against Farenas, and finally captured the vacant interim WBA lightweight title against Perez.

Uchiyama deserves to be rated number one in the division because he has the most title defenses, but the fact of the matter is that none of the guys have truly separated themselves from the pack by beating elite opposition. And I don't know how you can rate Barthelemy second considering he was awarded a gift decision against Usmanee just earlier in the year.

And Gamboa is currently the number one ranked challenger to Abril's WBA lightweight title.

He is overrated and so is Garcia.

Gamboa was at least a decent fighter at featherweight and superfeatherweight but at lightweight he has a paper title.

Garcia is a full force hypejob. He won a couple of papertitles at featherweight, his first REAL title was the WBO and he won it because it was vacant.

At superfeatherweight he won his first respectable title [WBO] by beating an actual champion but he was dropped by the guy who is not the best at superfeatherweight.

The best in the division is Takashi Uchiyama who has 8 successful title defenses of the WBA.

Next is Rances Barthelemy who has that Cuban expertice/experience and is a 5'11'' 73'' reach superfeatherweight [even bigger than Corrales who was huge in the division].

The third best is Takashi Miura who has the WBC [respectable title] and he has wins over men like Gamaliel Diaz [the guy who beat Guerrero].

The fourth best is Garcia who has a respectable title in the division, finally the least respectable is Gamboa who has only a paper title.

The least prestigious champions are the most popular in the USA and i assure you they won't fight the best in the division.

Like i said before, Gamboa went into hiding right after Adrian Broner called him out and called him all sorts of names like ShortBoa. Dude should have never betrayed Cuba if he is scared to fight.

Haven't seen him since the whole Biogenesis Lab steroid thing happened.

I'm not sure he'd beat any of them at the moment being so inactive
