With Amir Khan fighting in Sheffield, can we expect a fight with Kell Brook soon?

@Ghazan Sheffield is no dump these days and I doubt Khan sells out a stadium without fighting a properly big name.

Sheffield has a big part in British boxing, with the Ingle gym turning out Hamed and others in the pros, it's also where the top olympian amateurs are trained year round. Also, the Motopoint is a pretty big venue and Kell Brook sold it out without fighting any really big names. I wouldn't be surprised if Khan does get some hostility though given the way he and Brook disrespect each other.

TONGUE-CLICK!

Possibly depending if Brook beats Alexander , If Brook claims the I.B.F 147 lbs , then Khan has to move up weight and earn the shot . The problem with Khan is that he thinks he can walk into a title shot , recently challenging J.M.M & Bradley .

2 losses back to back then a shoddy performance against Molina have not earned him a title shot at 140 lbs let alone 147 lbs .

If Alexander beats Brook then the door is open for the Brook vs Khan showdown

I live in Sheffield and have heard many people saying Khan should expect a hostile reception when he fights. Read into that how you like.

Interesting move. It would be big for Britain and a great way for Khan to get on track. Also, a great way for Brook to be seen as legit.

i dont understand why a superstar like Khan is fighting in a dump like Sheffield...when he can easily sell out the 90000 capacity Wembley Stadium

As Joshua Mbngo (for short) pointed out in answer to my other question about Khan, why would Khan stage his home coming bout in Sheffield, Brooks home town?

Does this indicate Khan may be fighting Brook soon or is he just trying to get under Brook's skin?

Or is there nothing to read into this?
