If Moore who was already aging could have put down prime Rocky Marciano and prime Floyd Patterson in gallant losing fights and beat some of the rated modern heavyweights of his time, I have no doubt he would have been too much for the old fashioned fighter as Willard. That would have been like prime Dwight Muhammad Qawi going up against the same Willard.
