Galactus177 George Foreman Young vs Mike Tyson 15 rounds?

Foreman would dispatch Tyson quicker than he did Frazier! Tyson wanted no part of the 40+ year old Foreman when he made his comeback. A young George was far more intimidating than the older verison and Mike was never mentally strong enough to battle anyone who stood up to him after 5 rounds.

Here's my take. I'd pick Mike Tyson, primarily because of quick and explosive hands. Foreman had had problems with opponents with fast hands and who beat him to the punch, the classic example being Muhammad Ali. Ali peppered George with lead rights in Zaire and struck him with jabs and crosses. Mike would bob and weave his way through George's guard and strike him with lightning-fast combos with TNT power, and probably knock him out inside 5 rounds. Foreman's size wouldn't be a problem as Tyson's style was tailor-made for taller opponents. However, if Mike fails to cash in on Big George inside 5 rounds, Foreman would rally furiously, outpunch Tyson and stop him by the 12th round.

Tyson would not last ten rounds against Foreman.Tyson showed so much promise but failed to maintain his passion for boxing, just look at some of the guys he lost to.On the basis of Tysons early form people hold him in the highest esteem, in reality he did not have the greatest of careers, on that same basis does that make Edwin Valero one of the greatest of all time? After all he had 27 fights with 27 kos before he took his life, we never got the chance to see his true potential wheras people tend to think about Tyson based on what he could have been rather than what he actually became.

Tough to say. I'm 50/50 on it. Foreman could of used his size, and damaged Tyson, or Tyson could of used his speed, and exploded on a slower Foreman.

Young Tyson could've been too much for Foreman, he was just so aggressive and explosive. Impossible to say though.

Old clinically obese slow senior citizen fat George Foreman consistently called out Mike Tyson on national tv;

foreman was a terrible matchup for tyson although a young tyson was so,so damn good you never know. i just think a slugger like foreman would connect on the swarmer in tyson and put him down for the count.

ayt, tyson wasnt kid dynamite anymore when foreman came back..

the 40+ yr old foreman will pick tyson apart in the absence of d'amato. yes, tyson went back to his former self after the legendary trainers death....

also both were koed... therefor both can be koed

who got more power? of course tyson

who wins if they fight in their primes? tyson
