I would think that after that dressing down by Floyd, his first priority would be to fight as soon as possible and get his confidence back. Lucrative fight dates and competing for ticket and PPV sales were probably not high on their list of priorities when they signed Angulo.
Floyd likes to fight in May and September. He booked May 3 for his PPV. Canelo could have fought on the same day but it would be a terrible business move.
