How much do I charge to host a wine and cheese table?

So call it four hours. Something like this will usually cost a fifty to a hundred dollars, depending on the local labor market.

Are you family or a friend of the bride or are you being asked to do this for a fee? If for a fee, you may not be able to even do this unless you comply with your area's alcoholic beverage service laws. In my area, you can't do this kind of stuff unless you have a license. Even then, there are civil liability risks associated with serving alcohol. You can, in many places, be liable is someone over-indulges and ends up getting into an accident while drunk-driving. A lot of people, especially those planning weddings, don't think about these kinds of issues, so for your own sake, cover your butt.

Do it for free.

Seriously - this is a wedding.. give her two hours out of your life as a gift.

I had a lady ask me if I would look after her wine and cheese table after her wedding ceremony. She said average time I will be doing so is for 2 hours. She asked me to set it up, keep it full and clean up after. I live in alberta, so I am wondering how much I should charge an hourly rate. Please and thank you, I would really appreciate if someone could help me out :)
