Canelo Alverez is also far bigger ,stronger and faster than the fighter that KOed Pacquiao ,Juan Manuel Marquez. If Marquez and Alverez fights ,Canelo would probably win a comfortable decidsion ,if not a KO over Marquez ,so for you to minimize Canelo Alverez as a fighter also minimizes Manny Pacquiaos' chances against Floyd Mayweather.

Canelo is good but far from GREAT!

If you're a true boxing fan, you should know that Junior middleweight division truly lacks the talent compared before with the punisher in such and that is what makes Saul Canelo Alvarez looks good in that division. There's no one to over shadow this young lad plus ALL the hype that GBP had invisted on him helps.

Why would Mayweather fight him at a catchweight though when Mayweather had fought there twice? Like I've said before Canelo Alvarez is good and young but truly far from great and lacks the experience on fighting elite opponents. I saw him fought Matthew Hatton and I was far from impressed and I blame GBP for the hype they've put in this guy.

My point is he has been fighting C class fighters and he's still young and i'm sure Mayweather will school him for sure. Just confused why it would be at a catchweight?

Pacquaio fought a couple of bigger fighter at a catchweight but rightfully so since Pacquaio never fought at those weight division while Mayweather has at Junior Middleweight.

Mayweather was worried about Canelos walking weight during fight night? When Pacquaio fought Clottey or Margarito, Margarito outweighed Pacquaio by 10+ pounds!

Bottomline, atleast Mayweather manned up and took the challenge.

P.S. This fight I'm sure wont require OSDT due to age difference. Im sure Mayweather will cook something up to keep up with the young and hungry Canelo!
