What do you think of Cotto having so many different trainers over the years?

his coach pedro diaz isn't bad remember that guillermo rigondeaux beat the #1 p4p at that weight in his prime with only 11 wins. Although guillermo rigondeaux and miguel cotto are two completely different fighters. Freddie roach's fighters have trouble with counter punchers. I think cotto is done he made a good superstar for the sport but its time to go away. Or if he fights Canelo for his last payday.

Cotto is an @sshole...If he wins a few fights with roach, he is going to fire him and hire another trainer... Just like what he did to manny stewart...Cotto is done man...

I think it was a detriment, the instability of changing trainers often cannot be a benefit to a fighter.

i think cotto can beat guerrero...cotto he aint that old...man did you see how marquez turned into the hulk?

let him search for a trainer that can bring him back....his style fits roach but hey, we dont know what happened between them why they got separated...

there is still donaire's trainer gracia, or baristain, etc...

he can still come back

personally i like miguel cotto as a family man, not a boxer, he totally sucks at boxing and dont give him credit either for whoopin mayweather 3 rounds in a row, mayweather is a cherry pickin fraud who sucks as well and wont fight any elite fighetrs.

Ever since that bust up with his uncle several years ago,he has gone through a few different trainers, Emanuel steward, then Pedro Diaz and now he is in talks with Freddie Roach in another attempt to find a new trainer. Anyone else find it quite unusual that at this stage in his career, he still hasn't found one he's comfortable with.

Any ideas why? I've never heard anything about Miguel being particularly hard to work with or demanding. I can't remember why he dropped his uncle, I think they just disagreed on how they were doing things. With Manny Steward, there are a lot of complications with all the different fighters he trains around the world and around the USA. The relationship with Diaz seemed quite good until they announced they would be parting ways. Now Cotto is looking for another trainer.

I think we've the best we could possibly see out of him, what changes could a new one possibly make at this point in his career and what could they possibly improve on?
