Which BBQ would you rather go to? A Mexican one or a African- American one?

also state why? is it the beer, food or even women

there both good afican american can do up some good chicken etc a mexican one also is good carne asada etc is the bomb personally i like mexican food and mexican do some good cooking and throw a good party so i say mexican good luck on your choice ive been to both and im white

Don't know why this is in the boxing section, but since I'm the forum's expert on Q I'll answer the question.

The right answer is the one where someone working the pit actually knows what they are doing, but fact is most Mexican-Americans grill rather than BBQ (which is smoking meat). Now in many cities, especially northern, a lot of African-Americans don't smoke meat (BBQ) because of the longer cooking times and simply grill their smaller cuts of meat (ex. ribs), but in the Southern & Midwestern states BBQ is the primary way of doing things.

Since the various forms of BBQ are based off African-American cooking traditions* the natural bias for anyone would be to choose their BBQ over a Mexican-American. It's really no contest when one considers the distinctly southern side dishes Mexican-Americans generally have no expertise in making.

Edit- Camper Bob proved my point: Carne Asada is a grilled meat not barbecued, just like the chicken (if you live in southwest-west) at the thousands of Mexican restaurants and grocery stores that specialize in grilling bird. You just cant compare a grilled steak (carne asada) to smoked (bbq) beef ribs, it's like comparing apples to oranges. This is like trying to compare carnitas to pulled pork, both are generally pork shoulder (or shoulder section) and shredded once cooked, but the end results are like apples and oranges because carnitas are roasted and fried while pulled pork is smoked (bbq).

1. Grilling= The process of cooking food over Direct heat.

2. BBQ= The process of cooking food over Indirect heat.

3. BBQ Sauce misnomer- Simply applying it to food doesn't turn it to BBQ despite what the marketing may make you think. It is sauce made for barbecued foods.

*The term barbecue is associated with the Spanish term barbacoa, but the cooking styles and flavor development is of African-American development.

I have actually never been to an African-American BBQ.

asian flavor is the best among them i try all i used to work in restu. So i try them .

As long as there is food, i'm there!

white burgers and hotdogs is all you need!!

I don't like red meat. .__.
