Guerrero is Mayweather's most live opponent for a while and with Mayweather being 36 and only fighting once a year ring rust could be a factor and Guerrero could surprise us.
However I still pick Mayweather, yes Guerrero is younger and coming off of a win over Andre Berto but I don't think he will KO Mayweather and I can't see him out boxing Mayweather either.
I may be wrong but I pick Mayweather by either late TKO or UD. I think it will be competitive though.
I don't think Floyd would have picked a fight with Guerrero if he thought he was a serious threat.Guerrero is a decent but somewhat limited fighter.That being said,Guerrero is a tough fighter,that is much more mentally strong than Ortiz,and also a more savvy fighter.He lacks big punching power,but will not be intimidated or lose his cool.Guerrero is hungry and i think that will give him a chance to score an upset.However,he is not as strong as Cotto and not that fast either.He can be found,lucky his chin is pretty good.
Mayweather is getting older,and less mobile,and coming off yet another year long layoff.I think Floyd is the more skilled fighter still,but he might be in for a tougher fight than he anticipated.I think Floyd will pick Guerrero off as he tries to get inside on him.I pick Mayweather to win,but it's going to be a little tougher than he thought it would.It will probably be a decent fight,with Guerrero looking ok early losing most of the middle round and coming on stronger towards the last few rounds.I got Mayweather by UD,with scores in the116-112 range in a fairly competitive fight.
Im actually siding with guerrero in this fight. Mayweather is getting up there in age. You always gotta give advantage to the fighter wit youth.. Take this in consideration, 29 year old Berto is Faster, stronger, more explosive, and has better stamina than 36 year old mayweather, and guerrero destroyed berto... We gotta use common sense and be realistic here, this isnt 25 year old mayweather anymore a lot of ppl cling on to prime mayweather and expect him to perform like that and this is not the case.. Guerrero by Decision or TKO, the world is gonna be shocked! But we needa except it. Every fighter that ages will go through this
I'm think Mayweather by knockout sometime between the 8th and 10th rounds. Guerreo is game and will give a great effort but unless Floyd is slipping I don't see him losing. And I think Guerreo is too stubborn to crease and let Floyd cruise to points victory so he'll keep coming and eventually Floyd will break him down. And although Guerreo tore apart Berto (who on that night was trying to imitate Floyd's philly defense) that's not Berto's style and it was Berto and not the style that lost fight. That being said I'm rooting for Guerrero to pull the upset but I just don't see it happening.

Guerrero may put up a good fight in the first to play the aggressor while Floyd tries to go toe to toe. Then after some power shots from Guerrero Floyd would think that one single mistake could send his azz in slumber so he will then get back his old style of running, dodging and counter punching. In the later rounds Guerrero will get tired chasing Floyd thus the frustration sets in. Now this will be Floyd's opportunity to strike back and launch his attacks to the ghost who can't barely raise his arms for defense.
But there's no way Floyd can get a KO. We know Floyd's power... Marquez took like a thousand of Floyd's power shots and you can't find a single bruise in Marquez's face after their match.lol

Some of you act like you've never seen Mayweather before. I understand that you want to see him lose. But slower big opponents, miss and get countered all day by Mayweather.

i think Mayweather is going to win. Guerrero has knockout power and it is possible that he could no doubt shock the world, but I still think Floyd is gonna take this one.
