Boxing: Should Ward fight Froch in England to prove it wasn't the location that won their fight?

Would the fiight go any different in England? If so, should Ward be concerned about judges like in Froch/ Dirrell?

Yeah that's a good suggestion...Ward should fight Froch in England to shut the haters up.

Ward should fight in England and in other parts of the world if he wants the exposure and recognition as the World Champion. He certainly does not owe it to Froch to do so however. It is a matter of public opinion and I think that if Ward wants to be one of the best Super Middleweights, then he needs to travel for his own legacy.

Other than the difficulties associated with travel, the fight was not close enough to even consider that location had any bearing on their fight. Ward thoroughly out classed Froch that night and unless Ward's injuries have caught up to him, I suspect that Ward would repeat his performance. I think that Dirrell won his fight with Froch as well, but that fight was close enough that controversy could ensue. I think Dirrell took his foot off the gas too many times and allowed Froch to rough him up, which gave the appearance of closeness. There was no such appearance in the Ward fight. You could tell that Froch was frustrated. He even said that he just couldn't get to Ward and that he was too "slippery" or something like that. Ward however, was scoring at will and wasn't there to be hit by the time Ward stopped throwing.

Location makes no difference in a fight. The crowd can't fight for Froch and Ward will just cruise to an easy decision. The fight will happen wherever Ward decides, he is the second best P4P.

They could not fight on Mars, cos there's no air there and fans would have difficulty getting to the venue.

Intriguing fight, think Froch deserves it, and financially it's a great option for Ward.

I'd say CF has a chance, losing early rounds like the last fight but just keeping coming at Ward and his chance being maybe simply wearing Ward out and catching up in the latter rounds.

Ward's W against Dawson does not look so good now, with Dawson being exposed against Stevenson.

Wonder if sog has the balls to get in there with that monster? That could be done at 168.

If he WANTS to, but Ward doesn't HAVE to.

Ward doesn't need to rematch anybody. He handled Froch w/ a broken hand, the fight wasn't competitive at all (despite two of the scores). Location had nothing to do w/ it, SOG is just better than Froch, he's better than anyone at or around 175lb.

I'd like to see Ward go to the UK and fight Froch, just for the atmosphere of it and considering the fact there's not much out there for Andre.

That's the only reason though. Their first fight was uncompetitive and unentertaining, so I don't really need to see it again.

Ward should fight Froch in England but not to prove that he won their first fight due to the home location.

He should travel outside of his home country to fight due to the millions of American boxing fans who have slated and belittled the achievements of boxers all over the world for not travelling outside their home country as much as they could have.

This is one of the biggest double standards in boxing. American boxers get showered with praise while fighting in their back yard and making their opponents come to their home turf, while boxers from the rest of the world get slated for it and called protected.

Ward should not be worried about the judges in the UK in the same way Froch was not worried about the judges in America, where there have been more home town decisions that any other country.

I'm with stick and move. Ward doesn't have to rematch anyone. He would beat Froch on Mars if they fought there. It won't matter.

I think Ward should eventually go for David Haye at catchweight/cruiser-weight in 2015. There is not much left of super-middle imo.
