Mayweather claims he's the greatest ever. Agree or disagree?

When was this?

Anyway, people say Robinson is the greatest of all time or Ali is the greatest of all time, but they base it off who they fought which I get. There were more talented fighters in the past, but I've seen them both fight. How can anyone say Mayweather couldn't compete with them?(Well not Ali because he's a heavyweight)

Not saying Mayweather is the greatest, but he could certainly fight and beat the best of any era. You can disagree if you want but you know I'm right.

Disagree. Mayweather is a great boxer with a lot of a talent and technical skills but as an overall boxer in the ring and accomplishment wise, he comes no where near close to the great Sugar Ray Robinson. Now this isn't to say that Mayweather has absolutely no chance against the past greats such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Pernell Whitaker and vice verca but it's to say that Mayweather hasn't accomplished much compared to most Greats. No one in both Welterweight and P4P history of boxing can beat Sugar Ray Robinson both in the ring and accomplishment wise. Floyd certainly can't beat him and even Sugar Ray Leonard can't at least take a 1 out of 3 victory over a prime Welterweight Sugar Ray Robinson IMO.

I think Floyd is a great fighter but he is no where near the best that has ever lived.

1.Roy Jones

2.Sugar Ray Leonard

3.Sugar Ray Robinson

4.Ali

5.Larry Holmes

I could name 20 more fighters that were better than him Roberto Duran the list goes on and on .I would put him in the top 50 some where.

Wow I think Floyd is crazy personally I also believe sugar ray Robinson was the greatest.there was a point in his career where he was 128-1

He's an idiot because he hasn't beaten the longest win streak ever 89-0 Julio Cesar Chavez

Anybody who is in the right mind would disagree....He aint fighting better competition so he breaks all the record...I dont care what he breaks, but he aint no greatest ever...

One of the best skilled fighters yes but not the best ever overall

No ali is the greatest of all time

Agree!!!

When interviewed by Stephen A. Smith he claims he's beaten all the records of the greatest names in boxing (not word for word). Do you think so or no?

Personally I think Sugar Ray Robinson would end Floyd by round 4. But what do you all think?
