It's funny how people jump all over Floyd for the catchweight thing. Back in '04 Oscar De La Hoya made a 39 year old Bernard Hopkins, who had been middleweight champ for almost 10 years, make 157 for a middleweight title fight and hardly anybody said a thing about it.
Also, it's possible Canelo doesn't have first-hand knowledge of the negotiations. Canelo may only know what his team is telling him.
