Floyd didnt face a lot of boxers with great footwork. The fighters who were in the same division and had the best footwork like Pacquio, Joel Casamayor or Acelino Freitas didnt face Floyd
Cotto didn't really use footwork to cut the ring off because Mayweather was standing right in front of him the whole time.
I'd say Hatton used his footwork well to cut off the ring and pin him on the ropes almost immediately when Mayweather was on the backfoot. Emmanuel Steward actually pointed out Hatton's footspeed in that fight.
Oscar was quite effective at times, especially the first 8 rounds.
Actually Oscar and Hatton really didnt use that great of foot work, because if you see closely they just rush up forward. The one that really used footwork and only at the beginning of the fight was Zab Judah.
