Devils advocate: How come Floyd Mayweather hasn't fough another slick fighter since Zab Judah back in 2006?

Was the Judah fight too close for comfort for Floyd in the first 6 or so rounds?

Off the top of my head, I can't really think of any slick fighters at 147lb that Floyd should've fought.

Nobody that deserved it at least.

Clottey may have been the slickest fighter at 147lbs but he never deserved the fight. His arm was broken against plaster-hand margacheatoh and he lost against Cotto in a close fight but i do think he would have given Floyd problems since Floyd wouldnt be able to swarm him like pacman did.

People say Pacman would have given Floyd problems but i believe Paul Williams who was a monstrous swarmer at 147lbs would have been the only CLEAN man to beat Floyd at 147lbs the last 10 years due to styles. Floyd retired after Paul Williams ko'd quintana the first round and became the 31 contender for Floyds title, Floyd came back when Williams went up in weight.

It's important to remember that Paul Williams was the only man to beat prime plaster-hand margarito at a time when Margarito was destroying young prime Cotto, young prime Martinez [the middle weight king] and young prime clottey

What about Sugar Shane Mosley...pretty slick

yea, mosley's slick...he aint got no prob w/ slick fighters, he loves to outbox them... show the world he's the slickiest in this era... it's the swarmers that he cant box, there's no more after castillo, he avoided margarito and pacquiao... he got more problem w/ swarmers dude, forget the slicks out there.

Who knows? it looks as if there isn't one or two that can

get Floyd's attention?.
