Do you have to have constant headmovement in boxing? whats wrong with being a stationary fighter?

like by not having headmovement but having good footwork

having footwork makes you a moving target and harder to hit but what can a boxer do? move around the ring NON-STOP like literally non-stop? What happens if you get fatigued and can no longer move? Besides just because you move around doesn't mean you won't get hit.To be a great boxer you have to work at everything, not just one thing. It's a sport where you take blows to the head, so yea head movement is extremely important. Look at what happens to those who have no head movement.

Constant head movement,,,, no. You need to have an eye on your opponents hands, and body language. Actually I could write all day about this, but if you are gonna try to box, you really need to contact a boxing trainer if you still have such basic questions. :) Good luck.

Go watch Antonio Margarito then watch Floyd Mayweather. Thats why you should have head movement

You'd better be strong enough to handle blocking, and hope your opponent doesn't hit hard enough and can be easily intimidated nor have good stamina.

IS THIS A SERIOUS QUESTION?
