Do you think Wladimir "White Stallion" Klitschko deserves credit for being such a dominant champ at 38?

If Wladimir was an African-American they would include him in the GOAT heavyweight discussion already. Look at Jon Jones for example. This dude has been a champ only for the past 2-3 years by beating natural middleweights like Belfort, Machida, Shonnen and some past his prime dudes like Rampage and Shogun Rua, while he clearly lost to Gustaffson and got a gift decision as usually happen in such cases, and they already compare him with the likes of GSP, Fedor, Anderson Silva, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture and Royce Gracie who dominated for a really long time each.

The American sports world is a pro-black and very unfair to the rest of the races, man, that's not a secret anymore. Don't you see how they keep trying and trying unsuccessfully all these years to promote the whole concept of the "black superior quarterback" and keep failing? Imagine if they did the same with white players and the running back position. We would have riots in the streets now.

He's a dominant champion, but his competition is journeymen, and a few bums from the era before.

Who did Wach ever beat? The guys a journeymen, in real boxing. It goes to show you, you can take anyone stack a record up, and people will eventually give in, and think their great. I respect Whladimir he is a big strong boxer, but his skills are not superb, and he would of never held a belt from 1970- 2000.

Yes I do. I'm a big fan of Klitschko and I have said before, he has beaten the best heavyweights in his era. He hasn't ducked anyone, he fought an undefeated world champion Alexander Povetkin and before that he saw off another world champion in David Haye, I understand the level of opposition hasn't been great otherwise but who's fault is that? It's not Klitschko's if someone tells me who he ducked that was a genuine threat to his reign as champ then I will be happy to look in to it further but my memory tells me Wladimir Klitschko has taken every one out

I'm old school and can name a dozen former champs or even non champ heavyweights over the years that would have easily defeated Both the K brothers. Hit and hold, fighting bums makes no champ in my book.

sure, if you want to give him credit for mopping the floor with guys like Alex Lepai and 40 year old Tony Thom psons, or shopworn Hassim Rahmans, or used up Sam Peters.......

better just hope he stays away from Deontay Wilder or and brothers under 40

Wladamir does deserve credit as you can only beat who are around in your time. However, he would never of been champion before as his limitations have been exposed against journey men fighters. However, I respect him as if you look at his fights throughout his career he has became a better fighter throughout years though recently his age is starting to show.

Sure, he deserves credit, but you can't help but think about the level of his competition

Wladimir is yet to be undisputed champion. Some of the guys he lost to got taken out of the ''picture'' by his brother.

Joe Louis did not have a brother to watch his back. He had to do it all alone and he fought monsters.

Primo Carnera was bigger, heavier & longer than anyone Wladimir has ever had to fight.

Imagine if Wlad had to fight men like that.

I think he's the GOAT.

Wladimir has a total 65 professional bouts, is 38 and looks superb.

Joe Louis had 69 professional bouts (but had boxed less rounds than Wladimir) and was 37 when Rocky broke his chin into 10,000 pieces. Plus he looked like an old bald black man who was in a blues band.

It looks like Ukrainians age better than your average brown bomber.
