I agree that Floyd's aging is starting to become visible, but I don't think it's that dramatic and may be simply a rationalization by many to justify spending $60 on a ppv (plus countless more on food & booze). Something tells me there was concern with Roger Mayweather being capable of fulfilling duties as a head trainer for this fight and I would wager that it's a health or criminal issue rather than a need to change voices/strategy because this isn't the 1st time Floyd Sr. has needed to step in for Roger and he's been part of the strategy confirmation team during most of this period. In other words the differences between Floyd Sr. & Roger are at the fringes and even if they weren't Floyd Jr. has had that in his ear this whole time anyway. The only thing I question about Floyd is his decision to fight at 147 this late in the game when it would be far easier on his body to simply campaign at 154 and try to sneak in a middleweight title before his curtains drop.

I don't think this fight will be all that close, despite that Floyd's decreasing ring movement may provide some opportunities to land a few shots. However, Floyd mastered the technique of throwing lead rights long ago and that may be something he brings off the shelf to keep Guerro in check for an easy bout.

being aggressive wont do it for guerrero. he has to out smart Floyd and thats not gonna happen but he will put up a good entertaining fight. Mayweather wins by TKO in the 10th

Guerrero is great, fast and strong, but has too many flaws in his game and I think Floyd will exploit that!

This is going to be a much better fight than a lot of people are thinking.

Mayweather 43-0 the biggest name in the game the biggest money maker,has fought everyone that really wanted to fight him . Floyd is now 36 years old and in boxing that is like dog years 252 years old.Lets go back a little to the Marquez fight . Floyd came into that fight over weight and would not take it off so he would come into the fight a bigger man he had to pay Marquez 600.000.00 for the extra weight and he was glad to do it. It paid off because Marquez was getting to Floyd but he could not hurt him . Floyd gave him a boxing lesson but if you looked close Marquez was not that far out the fight.Then there was the Cotto fight Floyd him self made a lot of comments about how good of a fighter Cotto was in fact it has made Floyd change trainers .Floyd Jr. has not had his dad in his corner in 13 years . This tells me Floyd is worried about this fight he keeps saying he can't make the same mistakes in this fight . What no man can see until it is to late is the passage of time. Time has caught Floyd yes he is still the most skilled fighter in the game yes he is still the fastest fighter in the world and he is one of the strongest in the game. The biggest advantage Floyd has over everyone he has faced is the fact that he is smarter than everyone else. Has the time in jail hurt him yes ask anyone who has been in jail and they will tell you that jail takes something away from your body and mind. Floyd only fights once a year and you don't get better by not fighting . Is Floyd still hungry you have to be hungry to box Floyd is a very rich person is he still willing to take the punishment after all these years? The moment wont get to Floyd he has been here many times .Floyd said his uncle over trained him in the Cotto fight that's why he fired him .Will having his father in his corner create confusion ?

Robert Guerrero 31-1 came back and destroyed the only guy to beat him . Guerrero has been on a roll in his last fight he beat the favorite Berto by staying on top of him .Guerrero is not the most skilled fighter in the world he makes up for the lack of skill with aggression. The biggest thing Guerrero has going for him is he believes he can beat Floyd which is a big plus in his favor. Guerrero is 30 years old so he will have youth on his side . Will youth, aggression, and motivation to be the first fighter to beat Floyd be enough ? Berto is not Floyd Mayweather.

This is going to be one hell of a fight but in the end Floyd will win by knock out some time after the 7th round.
