Have I gone insane? I think Audley Harrison will beat deontay wilder?

I think Wilder wins by KO, and this is a showcase. I'm bias though.

Eddie raises the best question. Why has Wilder been fighting such bums and fat pieces of sh*t for so long?

I think in part it may be padding his record/getting pro experience, since Wilder was pretty raw turning pro. Still though, it's been five years since he won a medal at the Olympics, and you'd think he would have stepped it up by now.

So what's the deal? I get the feeling that Wilder has a bad chin, but if he learns to jab and keep distance he could still be very good, especially considering his ridiculous power.

Maybe that's what his handlers have been doing, trying to get Wilder to jab and not get hit, although his jab is still very sh*tty most of the time IMO.

I don't think Audley can do anything here though. Wilder hits just as hard, if not harder than Price. Harrison basically folded after the first right hand Price landed on him, so I think WIlder lands that Alabama Jam sooner than later and f*cks Harrison up bad.

Lots of upsets lately, especially at HW. Price getting knocked out, Seth Mitchell getting iced, Fury almost getting stopped by USS.......I hope Wilder doesn't fall victim to this trend.

I think Wilder is all wrong for Audley. Yes he is untested but at the same time he has a powerful right hand and good speed and reach which he can use to KO Audley fast. Audley never impressed through his career, always failed when push came to shove. Just because he beat a few average over the hill heavys in a few 3 round fights in Prizefighter doesnt really change anything. I dont think Audley should try and box Wilder because he will eventually get caught and KO'D. I see his only chance being to attack Wilder and try and land a big left and end the fight but I dont see that happening. He will probably get knocked out in the first 3 rounds.

I really hope im wrong and Audley puts up a great fight and at least takes him to the later rounds.

Cant wait for this fight really!

Not at all LSD. As much hate as was going around this forum for Wilder I'm amazed at how many people are picking him in this one. Of course if he does ice Harrison he will still get no respect. With all of the people talking about all of the tomato cans that Wilder has faced I'm kind of surprised that even as big of a bust that Harrison has turned out to be, they don't give Wilder just a little credit for stepping up a little. And contrary to popular belief, this IS a step up from the rest of his resume.

I think that Harrison has a very good chance of exposing Wilder but if Wilder does win I hope they give the young undefeated heavy some props for taking this fight.

My prediction is that Wilder is better than people think. You can't just step into the ring 27 times and come out with a KO every single time unless you got something. Wilder by another early KO.

He might as well be adjusting his tie at the post fight interview and start of by saying "I get no respect."

You're not crazy. I am not sure in my mind who will win either. It depends on which Harrison shows up, if he freezes as he often does in big fights then he is finished. However Harrison has fought at a higher level than Wilder, who although unbeaten has not beaten anybody of note, if Harrison turns up on top form I can seriously imagine him winning this. As I say though, it does depend on which Harrison turns up, at 41 he may freeze against the up and coming Wilder and be blasted out. I'll be interested to see who wins, if Harrison goes for it it will be interesting.

The question must be asked..... Why is Wilder being protected??

The guy has been a professional boxer for 5yrs, racked up 27 wins, all by way of knock out... Yet not one single 'live reputable' opponent is on his resume.....?? Weird huh??

Deontay Wilder has a 100% KO record, all falling inside four rounds.... Yet his management have not persued a top ten contender to match him against.... They choose to pitch him against a 41yrs old known looser, that is reknown for freezing on big occasions..... I wonder why?

If harrison doesn't KO wilder then someone else will, I have been saying for a while that wilder is a fraud and is a KO waiting to happen his chin is like a plastic cup.

Can anyone see where Im coming from, Price got KO'd by a tall southpaw (Thompson) and I think Fraudely might actually replicate that. Although I still don't see him getting anywhere, how many times has he said that his journey is just beginning, I mean winning prizefighter isn't hardly an outstanding achievement.
