How to get a stronger jab (righthand)?

Keep relaxed and don't clench your fist till the last second before impact. Whip your arm out and put your hips behind it.

Try adding these to your usual workout

do these in the air between rounds:

25 Jabs

25 Double Jabs

25 Triple Jab

Finish your routine with these

10 Minutes Shadowboxing (focus on speed and technique)

10 Minutes Heavy Bag Work (focus on power and accuracy)

Imma southpaw too.. So what?? I can still throW A quick and powerful Jab...if u are beginner then u have to do more practice after sometime it will be A Okay..Good luck Buddy..

your jab isn't slow because you're a southpaw. being southpaw has nothing to do with it. everybody's weak hand will always be slow and have not much power in it.. to make it more quick and powerful, first you need to learn the right technique. its all about flow. you need to learn how to move your whole body correctly. the power comes from your whole body, not just your arm. i cant really teach you how to throw correctly since i'm not there in person.

these is how i got a fast jab and strong.i keep jabbing and jabbing don't stop jabbing when you are hitting the bag try to always use your jab so it can get stronger and faster.the more you jab the faster and stronger

Step into it and use a recoil action like a whip starting from your foot ending with your fist.

If possible, don't clench until impact, and snap it back as soon as you contact (aiming a few inches behind your opponents head).

Bring your fist back up to your chin as soon as you snap back to guard yourself.

There are lots of video's online showing this, a video is worth a thousand words.

Good luck and practice, practice, PRACTICE!!

lift heavy weights 3 x 10 and do pushup and eat alot of meat
