If Mayweather ran with Guerrero, why would he not againts a bigger Canelo? Will there be boos?

Canelo is bigger than Miguel Cotto and is faster ,you seen how hard it was for Mayweather to keep Cotto off of him ,Mayweather will do what he has to do to win ,the object of the game is to hit and don't get hit.

Guerrero should be thrilled that Floyd didn't stand there and trade with him. He would have gotten beat even worse than he did. It's hard to say all a guy did was run when he managed to out land his opponent.

But I think you may be right about the Canelo fight. I have a feeling this will end up being a boring fight that will leave a lot of people very disappointed. In the fight with Austin Trout, it was Trout who was the aggressor. Canelo used counterpunching and very nice defense to win that fight, but he didn't attack Trout. We know Floyd isn't going to bring the fight to Canelo and if Canelo uses the same counterpunching style he used against Trout, it is going to be a very slow fight. Whatever style Canelo uses, I think he will struggle to land punches against Floyd and Floyd will be defensive minded and generate just enough offense to win a decision. I would shocked if this fight lives up to the hype and am certain we will hear some boos.

LMAO Thumbs up to "Stick and Move", I never heard of a fighter "diving head first into a right hand" but I am going to definitely use that line in the future. I am laughing so hard I got tears in my eyes.

I am one of those boxing purists who enjoy a good slugfest more than a track meet.

As for the Mayweather/Canelo fight, if Floyd does't run from Alvarez it will be a short night, the only problem is I have no idea who would KO who first, either one is capable of dropping the other. I expect Floyd to run, but then again I expected Ali to run against Foreman and he fooled me. Ray Leonard "ran" to victories over Hagler and Duran and Floyd certainly has shown that if he chooses to run, few if anyone will catch him. The question is "will Floyd chose to run and make an easy night of it or will he stand and slug with the best slugger in the 147 lb. division just to show everyone he can"?

We will find out on September 14th

Perpetual movement is a hallmark of his style, offensively and defensively be it against smaller ( like JMM and Guerrero ) and bigger foes ( like ODLH, Cotto at 154 ), But the thing with Floyd is that once he put his feet flatly and firmly, he is always ready to throw bombs which always catch the opponent. There will be boos because the boxing fans are not a homogenous group---there will always be hard core fans who want mostly toe to toe action. But I think we are not in the position to dictate how the fighters will conduct the combat. They have their own styles and I think the styles of Floyd ( defensive master boxing and counter-punching ) and Canelo ( pressure attack ) perfectly meshed.

He will run. That's for sure so you must not expect Floyd to go toe to toe with Canelo. But if he sees Canelo grasping for breath in the later rounds like the recent fight against Trout, Floyd will take over.

I wish Canelo would improve his stamina so he won't tire out.

You clearly know nothing about boxing because that's boxing. You're not suppose to let your opponent hit you. If you are then you aren't boxing. That's the name of the game BOXING.

Also, I didn't know you can win fights by running. How did he land 60% of his punches by running? How did he land any at all by running? How did Guerrero's face bleed if Mayweather was running? He wasn't running he just wasn't allowing himself to get hit. People can boo all they want, That only shows that they are not boxing fans.

Floyd was not running at all, I know you're used to your favorite boxer diving head first into right hands, but that isn't how all people fight.

I didn't know you could bloody someone's face up, punish them, land half of your punches, and totally dominate while running the whole time...

Kool K is correct.

There will be boos as well as cheers in this one.

Can't run if you stay within punch distance.
