Will Provodnikov become an avoided boxer now?

Or will other boxers see him as a challenge or a stepping stone?

Perhaps. I remember in the Summer of 2009 when Marcos Rene Maidana

stopped and made "Vicious" Victor Ortiz quit in front of his fans and got a

major upset to win the WBA Jr. Welterweight Championship and he was a

very avoided fighter for a while because he does have devastating punching

power. And props to trainer Freddie Roach he really prepared Provodnikov

to go that distance with Timothy Bradley and there were some memorable

times in this fight there were that it looked like Tim Bradley would be being

stopped TKO or quite possibly a KO. However, Tim Bradley is a warrior and

he preserved and showed a lot of HEART and that's what a true champion is

made of. Definitely he won't be a stepping stone for anyone he will get fights.

@Andrew: How are you bro? Answer this question when you get the chance.

It's seems like the world and his dog are calling out Paulie Malignaggi.. There are two good reasons for this:

1) Paulie ain't no hard puncher

2) Paulie has a belt.

All the top boys want to protect their records and earning potential. Taking Paulie's belt will increase their bargaining power. Only this week, Thurman called him out, Broner is lining up an offer as we speak...

The sad truth is.. None of the 140lb - 147lb 'names' will want to mix it with Provodnikov as the outcome is far from assured..

Every boxer knows, they have a hard nights work ahead of them if they meet the Russian in the ring.

The only way to beat Provodnikov is to dance around him, and not engage him... Mayweather could deal him.. That's about it.

Can you imagine in Khan took him on... One word: Carnage.

Only the up and coming guys will take on the Russian... The guys that want to make a name for themselves overnight. I wish them well...

Other boxers will see him as a stepping stone . The problem is now that he has made a little name for him self Bob Arum will match him soft.I like him a lot I hope he fights good fighters.

I think he will be a challenge because he ain't nobodies stepping stone. It looks like he has the punching power to stop most fighters.

next step for provot is to go after the belts....

look what happens when fighters like paulee got one....top fighters goes after him than fighting the best....sad but low-risk-high-reward is the name of the game now for ppv fighters
