What would be your prediction for a possible match between Ward and GGG?

I would say Ward would win by UD he'd probably be able to neutralize Golovkin with his jab and keep him on the outside

It depends on how GGG's power translates to super middlewieght, so that will decided how long the fight is. In my opinion it will.

Now... I dont understand all this "GGG hasnt shown me anything technical" talk. What fights are you watching?

Golovkin footwork is ELITE, the ways he probes his offense and sets up punches is ELITE, His defense isnt elite, BUT its really good, and obviously he has the power.

Now, as for Ward vs. GGG, great fight that I would pay to see.

Wards defense and hand speed would gives GGG something he's never seen before. But the truth is BOTH these guys usualy control fights from 1st to finish, the footwork and spacing battle would be epic, hard to really say who would be able to dictate the pace, but I think ward's style could prevail if he stays out of the ropes. Golovkin will hurt him on the ropes and corners, body work would be key.

So a fight between these two that takes place mostly in the center of the ring I'd favor Ward. if GGG gets ward cornered KO.

It may sound blasphemous to the true, knowledgable, discrimating hard core fans that it could be like the once projected super fight between Michael Spinks and Marvelous Marvin Hagler in the early 80s.

That fight never materialized because Hagler was realistic enough to see that as he was below 160 lbs., he would be a nuisance above 160 lbs. and that he had no business trifling with arguably the best light heavyweight champion ever.

GGG should realize that his success at 160 lbs. now ( against lower tiered foes at that ) would not be enough against arguably the finest super middleweight fighter since prime Roy Jones, Jr. and Joe Calzhage.

People should realize that GGG has yet to fully conquer the 160 lbs. class, which is not a given. The expectation is kin to that of John Mugabi before his challenge against Marvelous Marvin Hagler. We all know what happened there.

Gennady Golovkin hasn't showed me enough from a technical perspective to suggest he'd be able to beat Andre Ward. Golovkin is good but a lot of questions about him haven't been answered because he hasn't really faced the upper echelon of his division. (Sergio Martinez)

Stylistically, slow methodical punchers haven't faired to well against Andre Ward when you look at guys like Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, Edison Miranda, and Allen Green. However, with the exception of Froch I think Gennady Golovkin is a better fighter than the other three guys I named.

I want to see how Gennady Golovkin would with someone who has the ability to create an elusive target or adjust on the fly. Much respect to Golovkin but he's knocking out guys he's supposed to knockout in Curtis Stevens.

So far i would pick Ward by decision.

Ward has cleaned the supermiddleweight division, GGG has not.

GGG still has to beat Martinez & Quilins to clean the middleweight division and even then he will still be smaller than Ward.

If Ward ain't careful he will get knocked down once during fight. But ward with split D.

I would say Ward would win by UD he'd probably be able to neutralize Golovkin with his jab and keep him on the outside
