If by this era you mean currently active fighters than it is probably Wladimir Klitschko.
Wladimir may even be seen by historians as the greatest of this era.
Wladimir has far more recognized titles than Mayweather, Wladimir has far more title fights and has broken several records on title defenses and he also has fought the best in his division. Wlads 4 last opponents were all undefeated top contenders/champions [Mayweather can't say that].
People currently dislike Wladimir and undermine him like they disliked Ali but after he retired people will see his true greatness.

Im just curious who's the greatest considering you put Pac among the choices of the 2nd greatest of this era. IMHO PAcquiao is the greatest this decade and the last decade has seen. The numbers dont lie; 8 division champ. No matter what people say or think, its unprecedented, unparalleled, and i doubt it will ever be achieved again.

BHop - With only a decent power, the lack of speed, just quite enough height,..These were compensated with the one right between his ears. He'll reach 50 and he'll still be champ.
I'd put Hopkins in the previous era, Pacquiao for this era. him and Money May personally saved the sport and has kept it alive, they deserve credit.
Manny pacquiao. I don't care about undefeated records. Pacquiao resume is 100 times better than Calzaghe's.
