Hello my friend, a few are,

Jem Mace: An 1800's bare knuckle fighter. It was actually Mace, not the Marques of Queensbury who introduced many of the rules of modern boxing.

Harry Greb: Has a following on here but many boxing fans would say Harry who?

Tommy Farr: Best known for losing a decision to Joe Louis. Was a top class fighter who beat Max Baer and fought from 13 years of age until 40.

Len Harvey: British boxer of the 30's who fought from below flyweight, was a teenager weighing about 70 lbs for his first fight, to heavyweight. He won British titles at middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight.

Larry Gains: A Canadian fighter of the 30's who knocked out Max Schmeling and outpointed Primo Carnera, was passed over for a title shot because he was black.

Les Darcy: Won Australian recognition as middleweight champion at just 18 years old, went to America to persue his claim but died at just 21.

Jimmy McClarnin: A top class fighter who fought a who's who of the 1930's and was world welterweight champion, never seems to be mentioned on here.

Freddie Steele: A top middleweight who won a portion of the title in the 30's and lost only 5 of 141 contests, seems to have been forgotten though.

McFarland and Mike Gibbons are awesome shouts.

Mike's brother Tommy Gibbons is underrated as well.

Billy Conn seems to only remembered for losing to Joe Louis. He's one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Jack Britton was a defensive master and is hardly talked about.

Same goes for Young Griffo. He could be the most naturally talented boxer ever.

Charley Burley? The most avoided boxer in history.

Harry Greb for the simple fact he could literally be the greatest of all time.

Many of the great middleweights of the 60s and 70s get ignored(in favor of the more famous 50s and 80s) guys like Emile Griffith, Carlos Monzon, and Nino Benvenuti don't get mentioned enough. Also Lightheavyweights in general just get ignored, the Spinks brothers, the trio of fighters with Muslim names, Dick tiger, Max Rosenbloom, Bob Foster, and many others. Heavyweights from the 80s are way underrated, when they were good they were good, when they were bad they were bad, besides Larry Holmes, there was Mike Weaver, Tim Witherspoon, Michael Dokes, Gerry Cooney, among others.

People really ignore the boxers from the 1920s and 1910s as well.

Hairydude is a copy cat!

I'm surprised nobody mention Sam Langford! He's even dubbed "the greatest fighter Almost nobody knows". He may have a cult following on this forum, but he's only known by extreme hardcore fans. Another fighter that seems too never get mentioned is Benny Leonard, a forgotten king of the lightweight division.
