Right now it's Paulie Malinaggi, but Paulie is a little guy and he has 7 KOs in 36 fights, one more than Sven Ottke with 6 KOs in 36 fights. Jimmy Young a heavyweight contender who gave Ali trouble and beat George Foreman only had 11 KOs in 56 fights, a very light hitter for a heavyweight. Troy Dorsey the featherweight who went from a kickboxing champion to a boxing world champ at featherweight only had 16 pro fights and won 11 by KO, not a bad knockout ratio, far better than Cory Spinks who has only 11 KOs in 47 fights.
Malignacci is certainly one. I remember Paulie stuck Lozada with a shot that wobbled him and I swear to you Paulie was the most shocked person in attendance. Timothy Bradley would have to punch and egg about 15 or 20 times before he cracked it. Those are probably the 2 most notable pillow-fists in the game today.
I just watched a few fights of this middleweight from the 80s and early 90s named Gianfranco Rosi. The guy was a swarmer, but he didn't have the punching power to back it up. Rosi had 19 kos of his 62 victories. It was kind of frustrating to watch him. If your going to be a swarmer, you got to have punching power. That guy would have been better off being a orthodox boxer than a swarmer
Zuri Lawrence. I still don't think h'es ever scored a knockout in his career, and the dude is a heavyweight. You'd think ALL heavyweight will have scored a KO at some point, but Zuri has no pop whatsoever.
Malignaggi is an obvious one as well, so is Sven Ottke.
Calzaghe always had brittle hands and would literally just slap at people. His win to knockout ratio is extremely deceiving.
I feel Willie Pep is p4p the best pure boxer of all time., but he only had 65 KO'S in 241 fights..
Cesar Rene Cuenca Light welterweight he cant even crack an egg to save his life. his record is 44 fight with 2 KO
