It was a six year sentence. In Indiana you get two-for-one good time credit, meaning you can be out in half of your sentence (actually, with time cuts, you can be out in less that).
Although now we have a law requiring sex offenders to serve at least 85% of their sentence.
Mike Tyson admitted to everything he has done wrong in his life. The only incident he never admitted to was the rape charges he faced. To this day it is a touchy subject to him and he still says he never forced that girl into anything. As brutal and crazy as Tyson was he never lied he always told the truth. So I believe Tyson was innocent he never should have went to prison in the first place
Perhaps he greased some palms. Nothing surprises me anymore.
