Typically a good boxer will win in a street fight, unless the other guy is much stronger and can grab onto them, then it becomes a wrestling match.
On average Ali would win.
Shaq's pros- Can sit on Ali due to his massive weight gain
Can throw arthritis cream in Alis eyes
Does know some Genie magic

his voice can confuse and charm shaq and paralyze him

Ali in his prime was so fast on his feet for a man of his size. That would make it very hard to catch him and take him down even for a quick shootfighter.
Now imagine Ali without gloves on, his punches would be faster and sharper and it would be even harder to defend against it at all.
I disagree with what many people think about this: I′m pretty sure Ali would be devastating in a fight without any rules and knock people out easier and faster than in the boxing ring.

The only way that's happening is if you have Shaq and 71 year old Ali today, with Shaq winning! Nobody cares about what if they're both in their prime bull-****..that's all fantasy.
Ali was never considered a street fighter type. He relied on his speed of foot within at least contracted 20' or more ring. Ina street fight ALi can't utilize his positives and many would beat him. As far a s Shaq, maybe not a fighter, but his strength And height sees him grabbing Ali in an alley and stuffing him in the nearest ash can. I n the ring it would be different.
