BOXING: Now, at 44 wins Floyd is categorically the greatest?

name me ONE ATG fighter he beat in his prime..just one..who was in his prime and in his best weight class.

just one

I'll him the greatest of his era but it's hard to put a GOAT tag on him just yet. He's cleaned out every division he's ever fought in. I don't believe he's ducked anyone and it's stupid to think he has. Floyd knows defensively nobody can touch him. Only fighter I wish he fought back in the day was Kosta Zyu but Money would of outclassed him with ease. He would of been a nightmare match up for Kosta. If you go way back and know boxing you'll know the guys he beat in their prime. Corrales, Hernandez, Castillo, Judah, Ortiz and I'm sure there are more.

He's the best fighter in the world today and this was clear when he stopped Ricky Hatton, we didn't need to see him beat Guerrero to know he's the best, he was the best when he went in to fight Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto and Guerrero after that and was still the best when he saw them off.

That was already proven without Guerrero, Mayweather is pound for pound best in the world and better than any guy in any weight class, that's why he is Pound for Pound King.

He ducked a lot of fighters but he is a great fighter, however he is not the greatest...Not even close...

Filipinos will say no

No, not even close.

No

Sweet Science aficionados,

Cut to the chase: Floyd just defeated Robert Guerrero to attain win 44.

One question............. .........,

Q 1. At 44 straight victories is it safe to FINALLY assume that Mayweather, Jr. is thee GREATEST fighter in ANY of his five (5) weight divisions and coincidentally will retire in less than 2 years*** as THEE GREATEST Boxer of all five (5) of his divisions**?

** ~ essentially any of the 5 divisions with a "feather", "light", "super", "middle" or a "welter" in it.

*** ~ at 36 years of age, it is wise to think he will retire by the time he is 37 or 38 before Father Time steals his skills.
