...fight Andre Ward?

Andre Ward is simply too big for Floyd Mayweather. They have about the same skills but theres about a 30 pound difference here and were talking 30 pounds of lean muscle mass as well.

Just the fact that people bring this up only proves Mayweather is the undisputed Pound for Pound King. He has fought in 5 different weight classes. He fought the best available opposition, though some fights didn't happen either because of Bob Arum, money, or whatever it was.

The guy started off at 125 lbs I believe in the Olympics and went as far as 154 lbs. He didn't do a Pacquiao and say he can't make the weight. He took on the best Junior Middleweight in the world even though he could barely make weight. He went up to Junior Middleweight and fought the #1 guy there, not some guy off the charts. He beats the #1 ranked Welterweight, then again the #1 ranked Welterweight, #3 pound for Pound, #2 Pound for Pound, and he just continues to beat top guys in his weight class and is discredited for it. Then people look at Middleweight King Sergio Martinez and immediately say that Mayweather is ducking him because of Martinez' dominance. They completely ignore the fact that he is 2 weight classes above him. .

If Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather were the same weight, I would love to see it even though I'm confident Mayweather would give Ward a boxing lesson. Saying you want him to fight Ward is not you wanting to prove his greatness, because he has done that already. It's you wanting to see him lose. I would to see a fight between him and Sergio Martinez but I accept that he is too big. I would never go to him and say he should fight him. If he doesn't fight them though then he is ducking. Then they say he is a cherry picker when he fights fighters smaller then him and yet they are ok with a man who fights at 168 lbs fighting someone at 147 lbs. Would not hate on Andre Ward either. Why? because they just want Floyd Mayweather to lose. It doesn't matter if the judges rob him of a victory. They just want Floyd to lose.

No. This would be possibly the most boring fight I can think of. Its unrealistic because of the weight difference and would only benefit Ward who is not a big draw at the moment.

Yes, then Floyd could move down to 122 to fight Rigondeaux...

Naw, too big. But it would make a great fight wouldn't it.

I think Floyd has reached his optimum at junior middleweight, so no to all.

Could he......yes he could.

Would he.....very unlikely.

Should he......No it would be a mistake.
