i'm going with canelo on this one by stoppage. trout has an style similar to martinez without the power and speed. he keeps his hands too low and he's wide open to be countered every time he throws a punch. canelo is faster, stronger and younger. in my opinion he is the more technically sound boxer. he has amazing combos. many people say canelo hasn't fought anyone decent but his resume is a lot better than trout's. and trout has such a low ko ratio due to his lack of power. his biggest win was against cotto, in which he had a large size advantage in height and arm length. cotto was able to catch him with the left and rock him a few times. cotto is smaller,slower and didn't have the power that canelo will have. many people say canelo hasn't fought a real jr middleweight yet but rhodes and cintron (only fought 14 of his fights under the welterweight limit) were decent jr middles. and just as good as any jr middleweights on trout's list. yes canelo by stoppage, i expect him to brutally dismantle trout round by round
i have canelo winning this one.. canelo is not like other fighters . canelo knows how to roll off punches very well. very hard to get throgh his defensece and in the counter punch forget it he is brutal.trout has never seen anything like canelo no one has . thats why he is so good .trout might win a few rounds but he can also get knocked out ..i just dont see trout having what it takes to beat canelo.. and please do not bring up cotto becase cotto is not that good even margarito beat cotto. . i think canelo could knock cotto out in 6 to 8 rounds easy
Alvarez is a very good boxer, but Trout is in the 'who needs him' club. He's a hard hard man to beat, Marlon Starling, Manning Galloway were two men that weren't always pretty to look at....... but REALLY hard to beat........ I see other people can see a Trout win. I'm going Trout on points and it wont be that close (but the official scorecards may see it closer.)
What I know is that trout throws jabs he couldn't stop cotto though . He is bigger southpaw and decent footwork. Canelo throws combinations with power he has better stamina and is bigger than cotto. I think Canelo wins this one but who knows this is boxing!

I would go with Trout aswell. He has it in the bag.
I think Austin Trout's style will give Alvarez some problems.I choose Trout to win by a unamious decision.
