Leonard fought all the best fighters in his time including Wilfred Benitez, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler with no promotional outfits or networks squabbling for the right to make and promote those fights.Fans grew up virtually knowing every fighters that matter in those days; no mysterious upstarts. There were only two major world boxing sanctioning and rating bodies.. There were none or very few mismatches or big time upsets because of those, The fans virtually got the fights that we wanted and more. The fights were mostly on free TV. How much better can that get?
